Everest Panorama Trek

Everest Panorama Trek is one of the most popular and panoramic vacations in Nepal’s Everest region, giving visitors a chance to learn about the Sherpa community’s customs and traditions as well as experience the breathtaking views of Mount Everest and other nearby Himalayan peaks like Amadablam, Lhotse, and Nuptse.

The Everest Panorama Trek will begin as soon as you arrive in Kathmandu valley and board a scenic flight to Lukla airfield. Following the well-known Everest path, you will soon reach Namche Bazaar via Phakding, a typical Sherpa village, after walking through rhododendron forests and along riverbanks. As we move closer to Tengboche, we take in the Himalayas’ natural beauty and cultural richness. Moreover, we’ll go see the inhabitants at their daily rituals and prayers in an old monastery there. Additionally, spectacular views of the Everest Himalayas, including Mount Everest, Amadablam, Thamserku, and other nearby peaks, are available from Tengboche. Lastly, with beautiful memories and photographs of Everest, we return back to Lukla to catch a flight to Kathmandu.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu (1400m)

  • Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, you will be received with warm welcome and transferred to your hotel.
  • Rest of the day will be a briefing of your program and trekking preparation. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla& trek to Phakding (2610m) [Approx. 3 hours Trek] 

You will be transferred to Kathmandu airport to fly to Lukla. Upon arrival at Lukla, have breakfast and commence the trekking up to Phakding (2610m) and after 3 hours easy walking overnight at teahouse lodge. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant). Dinner and Overnight at Lodge.

Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3500m)

About 4-5 hour hiking via DudhKoshi river bank and ascending of Namche Hill you will reach the remarkable town of Sherpa land Namche Bazaar which is the largest and most prosperous settlement in the Khumbu valley. It is also a historical trading center of the region- foods, salt, clothes and other goods are shipped by locals. Late afternoon visit the town and overnight at teahouse lodge. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant). Dinner and Overnight at Lodge.

 Day 04: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar

Before processing ahead an extra day for rest is required to adjust with thin air of high land. Explore around and visit early morning to the Everest view point Syangboche (3,833m) & after back from there rest at hotel and afternoon visit Sherpa museum. There you can see the traditional custom of Sherpa people and great photographs of Everest summiteers and overnight at teahouse lodge. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant). Dinner and Overnight at Lodge.

 Day 05: Trek Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m)

From Namche Bazaar the trail climbs up and down to Sanasa and the trail descends gradually to Teshinga and then it drops steeply to PhunkiThanga there you will be crossing DudhKoshi river. After climbing two hours from PhunkiThanga you will reach Tengboche. Tengboche is a religious place for the Sherpa people of the entire Solukhumbu area. Here you will visit the Tengboche Monastery which is one of the biggest in the region. During the full moon in November the monastery celebrates the famous Mani Rimdu festival. For your overnight stay there at the teahouse lodge. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant). Dinner and Overnight at Lodge.

Day 06: Trek to Khumjung Sherpa Village (3790m)

This is the largest settlement village in the Sherpa land where you will have a chance to see real Sherpas’ lifestyle and their cultural activities. The village has also a high school which is funded by Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation and also an old monastery where they have preserved the famous Yeti skull. Exploring around and enjoying incredible views of peaks. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)

Day 07: Trek back to Phakding (2610m)

Descending the trail again drops to Namche Bazar and have a short tea/coffee stop and continue descending via same route and on the way stop for the lunch break an hour at Jorsale Village. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant). Dinner and Overnight at Lodge.

Day 08: Trek toLukla

Via the same route again, be refreshed, have lunch and rest at tea house lodge or afternoon free for personal activities and overnight stay there at teahouse lodge. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)

Day 09: Fly Lukla to Kathmandu

Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu, upon arrival at Kathmandu you will be received and transferred to a hotel, rest and afternoon free for personal activities.

Evening farewell dinner with culture show at Nepalese Traditional Kitchen you will enjoy the very authentic way of Nepalese hospitality and overnight at a hotel in BB Basis.

Day 10: Departure Transfer

Today you will be transferred to an international airport to fly to your onward destination with sweet memories of your trip.
